Responsible AI, Bias, & Canadian AI Governance

As of September 2026, Canada has no AI-specific federal law in force: the proposed Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA) died with Bill C-27 in January 2025. Today the federal Voluntary Code, privacy law (PIPEDA) and human-rights law shape how companies deploy AI. Bias, fairness, and explainability are required topics in many AI roles. This course covers what IEPs need to know — and how to discuss it in interviews.
