Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
About 70% of Canadian long-term care residents have some form of dementia. PSWs who can communicate calmly, recognize behavioural changes, redirect agitation, and partner with families are the ones who get hired first, retained longest, and promoted into team-lead roles. This course covers the practical skills — built around the person-centred care principles taught at Canadian colleges and used in CRPNs across the country.
